Isn't this just the most wonderful box of pixie cuteness?
Some for me and some for the Etsy shop. :-)

Here are some pixies from my collection, on my tree. They're sooo cute!

Wonderful Box Of Vintage Elves

Last week, I found this wonderful box of vintage elves at the local auction house. I've been having lots of fun playing around with them, taking pics and putting them up in my Etsy shop.

I've listed almost all of them, except for the Gilner pixies. I really love the pink ones and they'll be the hardest to part with...they're just sooooooooo cute. I love their faces- such darling, impish little grins!

The big polka dot elves are my second favorites. They've been featured in several really nice Etsy treasuries:

Vintage Duro Decals

I recently found a box of vintage 1950s decals, all in their original packaging. Aren't they wonderful? Look at those bright red graphics on the logo- so awesome!

It has been like Christmas around here, unpacking the box, sorting/organizing multiples, scanning and listing them in my Etsy shop.

There's already a batch that has sold and is headed off to a customer in Japan...she was buying them as fast as I could list them :-)

There are lots of nursery themed ones in the box and even odd ones, like the dutch ones in the photo above. I don't even know why the Dutch are so often seen in vintage kitschy images, but I do like them and they always make me smile...maybe it's the bright colors or those cute little wood clogs.

I am completely in love with this decal company's logo! Each set of decals comes in its original package- a glassine (waxy type see through paper) bag, with sheared edges and their red logo printed on the back. So cool! We just don't see graphics this well designed nowadays...

If  I had to play favorites, I would choose the nursery themed ones. They are all 100% adorable!
