Just Listed: Vintage Strawberry Shortcake Dolls

I just finished listing these little Strawberry Shortcake cuties in my Etsy shop. Not pictured here are Orange Blossom and Purple Pie Man. I will be listing some bake shop pieces soon too. I LOVE Strawberry Shortcake. They look so cute, smell so berry sweet and bring back happy memories. I used to have a Strawberry Shortcake lunchbox in the 5th grade. It was my favorite childhood lunchbox for sure! (my Star Wars one from the 1st grade was my 2nd favorite lunchbox- the boys teased me about it, but I think that's because they were just jealous). I can still remember the way my Strawberry Shortcake lunchbox smelled when it was new. It was amazing and sweet. Now that I think of it, I wonder if they scented the lunchboxes or not. If they didn't, then I guess I found the smell of plastic off gassing a happy and pleasurable smell! LOL... (not sure if I should be embarrassed about that or not.)

I wish my Mom had let me have all of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls to play with when I was a child. I only had one or two of them and always longed for those wonderful play sets that went along with the dolls. There's just something so magical and sweet about Strawberry Shortcake and her sweet, happy little world.

New Vintage Housewares This Month

Here is a sampling of some of the pretty pastel colored vintage housewares that have been listed in the shop this month. From left top to right bottom we have: pretty pastel Tupperware bowls, a sweet framed needlepoint, a cute vintage Japan ceramic pin cushion, a ceramic lady planter, a ceramic poodle lady, lustre ware salt and peppers, boy & girl made in Japan salt & peppers (we have the matching egg cups too) and pastel tupperware cups that match the bowls in the shop.

My Little Pony Megan & Molly Dolls

I recently found out about vintage companion dolls for My Little Ponies, when I discovered a batch of them at a vintage estate sale. They are marked Hasbro on the lower back and were made in 1985. This one is Megan. I think she has such a pretty and sweet face and I love how she looks when posed with the ponies. So super sweet!

Here's the little kid sis of the batch- her name is Molly. She's a bit shorter than the other companion dolls, measuring in at 4 inches tall (the Meghan dolls are 6 inches).
